God's Love Answers Every Question

Have you ever had a million questions storming your thoughts when God whispered a refreshing answer into your soul?

Several years ago I had many questions I couldn't answer: What should I do about this, God? Why aren't things working out how I'd like? Why do I feel this way? Why don't I understand? My questions brought insecurities to the forefront of my heart.

I took a trip to a nearby park, found a picnic table and prepared to spend some time reading. Just as I sat down, I sensed the whisper of God, "Shana, I want to answer your question." At the precise moment, no question had filled my mind and I wasn't thinking of the many that had been bothering me during the previous weeks. Surprised and curious I asked, "What question is that, God?" "Do You love me?" He responded.

In that moment I instantly realized that every question I'd been asking could be answered with three words: He loves me. It was one of those "God moments" when the stuff of heaven somehow penetrates an unbelieving heart and all my questions melted away in the light of that one, but profound truth: I am loved.
